The Dragons Tale

A fire burns with sacrificial light,
encouraged by nymphs illuminated sight;
the frenzied dance, this way,
ebb and sway, embracing days end;
mended souls flicker, in fiery hues,
and we melt as one;
smoke -
the pipe of joy is passed, 'after you',
- 'no!, after you',
the cry, the effervescent lie, the ritual tie;
misunderstanding misgiven,
and the shattered illusion received,
a tattoo for you, friend,
and in the end,
the sky begins to bleed.
