Twin Souls

I looked for words
but none suffice
to measure this loves sweet device;
some tune to capture
this honeyed rapture
that weaves around my soul
another;
like endless eddy's of
fine drawn silk
your love cocoons me
feeds me milk;
and in this shelter
I transform
each day a little wing is born;
and when in love
the time is ripe
we both emerge
take wing in flight;
to dance upon the endless air
souls entwined
in love and care;
You fill my every waking breathe
in joy abounding, tranformed,
transcending death;
for we will be as two are one,
my twinstarred soul
our time has come.
